Securing the franchise's first championship in decades, Bobby Orr's historic overtime goal in 1970 sealed the fate of the St Louis Blues, while bringing triumph to Beantown. Finishing the regular season with a record of 40–17–19, offered here is this limited-edition artist proof display that includes a team photo of the 1969-70 Bruins that is signed by twenty-four (24) players and staff from that years Bruins squad. A large 16" x 20" full colour copy of that year's Bruins team, a plaque reading "Boston Bruins - 1970 Stanley Cup Champions" is found at the bottom of the display while the image is displayed under black and yellow coloured mattes. Framed to full dimensions of approximately 27 1/4" x 23 1/2", the image is signed in gold ink by the likes of; McKenzie, Murphy, Smith, Sanderson, Carleton, Hodge, Doak, Lorentz, Smith, Canney (trainer), Orr, Cashman, Westfall, Esposito, Awrey, Marcotte, Bucyk, Stanfield, Cheevers, Schmidt (GM), Sinden (coach), Johnston, Johnson (assistant GM) and Adams. All having been signed in gold marker ink, all the autographs display in excellent condition with no flaws whatsoever. With the black frame remaining in overall excellent condition, a limited-edtion artist proof serial number reading "AP 4/7" is penned at the bottom right corner in silver marker ink.
