Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Originally selected 49th overall by the Los Angeles Kings at the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Mike Cammalleri would go on to play parts of 15 seasons of hockey in the NHL with five different teams including Los Angeles, Calgary, Montreal, New Jersey and Edmonton. This signed stick was used by Cammalleri with Montreal in 2009-10, and it hails from the personal collection of Carey Price. An Easton SE16 model with blue-over-white spiral tape pattern to the handle and white tape to the blade, "Cammalleri" and "13" factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with a piece of masking tape affixed with "Mike Cammalleri" handwritten (there is also a small "64" in blue marker - possibly to signify use in his 64th game of the season?). The stick shows nice use with wear and puck marks to the taped section of blade, and large surface scratches to the reverse blade at the heel. There is also a few surface chips to the lower shaft. Cammalleri has signed over the frontside heel in thin blue marker. A Classic Auctions LOA will accompany along with a COA from Frameworth.
