Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
A journeyman goaltender who backstopped eight different NHL teams throughout parts of 10 seasons, Alex Auld compiled a total of 91 wins in 237 games played. This signed stick was used by the Cold Lake native in 2010-11 with Montreal, and it hails from the personal collection of Carey Price. A Reebok 6K model with "A. Auld" stamped to the upper shaft, the stick retains the original white tape to the blade, blue to the handle and blue-over-white to the knob. Heavy use is shown with puck marks to the blade with tears to the tape and additional marks and surface chips to the paddle. There is also a large dent causing a small crack to an edge of the paddle, with red goal post paint to the shaft. Auld has signed the heel in black marker. A Classic Auctions LOA will accompany along with a COA from Frameworth.
