Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Making his NHL debut in 2016-17, playing a single game that season for Calgary, netminder David Rittich would play parts of five seasons for the Flames, and is currently with Los Angeles. This signed stick was used by the Czech keeper in 2020-21, in his last couple month with Calgary, and it hails from the personal collection of Carey Price. A Reebok RM1 Pro model with "D. Rittich" factory graphics to the shaft along with Flames decals, the original white tape is intact on the blade and over the upper shaft and knob with "A" handwritten. The stick shows heavy use with tons of puck marks to the taped section of blade and wear to the underside at the heel, with some additional marks to the paddle and shaft and a couple dents to edges along the paddle. Rittich has signed the paddle in black marker. A Classic Auctions LOA will accompany along with a COA from Frameworth.
