With roots in professional hockey dating back to the late-1940s, a number of teams have called Cincinnati home over the years, playing in various leagues such as the AHL, WHA, ECHL, IHL and CHL. Also sporting a long hockey history at the college level, with the program starting in 1973, offered here is this University of Cincinnati Bearcats jersey that dates from the early-to-mid-1970s. A durene knit offering made by Rawlings, a brand label displaying a size "46" designation is affixed to the inner collar while the interior is void of a fight strap. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Bearcats team crest that features entirely printed details that display with wear from age and use, the reverse has been styled with the number "35" in dual layer red-over-black tackle twill numerals. Displaying evidence of a formerly in place nameplate over the upper reverse, with holes from its removal having been repaired by the team, the jersey displays just light game-wear via some light stick marks over the front and left sleeve, board burns over the reverse and fabric runs near the right cuff and finally, a board burn over the reverse hem. Also showing wear via some foxing/staining throughout its entirety and pilling inside and out,
