Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024

Sure to garner a few "bucks" of their own and resembling the Canadian dollar bill of the era, one (1) 4-1/8" x 1-3/16" bill was vertically folded and inserted into each wax pack of Topps' 1962-63 hockey card release. An overall captivating ensemble that rarely comes up in near-complete set form let alone complete set form, offered here is this near-complete assembly of Topps' 1962-63 "Hockey Bucks" insert set for you to consider. Featuring twenty-three (23) of the twenty-four (24) currency like examples that make up the checklist, the group is missing only the bill of Johnny Bucyk for completion. With the head of each featured players head taking the place of Queen Elizabeth and their facsimile signatures a nifty touch, all the included examples were at one time folded to be inserted into packs as previously mentioned and therefore most have a fold line visible near the left edge of the player's image. Remaining in overall excellent condition and retaining stunning visual appeal, the majority of the group shows just very light corner and edge wear that is worth mentioning for accuracy while examples of Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita and Gump Worsley also show toning. Check them all out and decide if your bucks will be taking home these bucks.
