This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
A four year college hockey veteran with UMass-Lowell in the NCAA that signed as free agent with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2010, Carter Hutton would go on to a professional hockey career that would span the length of twelve (12) years and see him play in a total of 235 National Hockey League games with the likes of Chicago, Nashville, St. Louis, Buffalo and Arizona. Offered here, we present this St. Louis Blues jersey worn by Hutton during the 2017-18 season. Made by Adidas, a band displaying both "Made in Canada" and size "58G" designations is affixed to the inner collar while NHL shield and Adidas crests have been added over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Blues team crest that features embroidered details, the sleeves and verso of the garment have been styled with Hutton's number "40" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "Hutton" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior as well as a Blues team tag that denotes the jersey as being an "Official Game Jersey - Set 3 - 12-27-2017" example, the jersey shows game-wear via puck marks throughout the front and both sleeves, red post paint transfers over the reverse and both sleeves and a couple of small board burns over the area of the right elbow. Also sporting good pilling on the interior, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #915961820 (February 8th, 2018 vs Colorado) to the puck mark to the puck mark in the yellow stripe of the right sleeve.
