Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024

Participating in each of the first three (3) NHL regular-season games outdoors, the most of any NHL player in the league's history — even though on each occasion he was not his team's starting goaltender even a month prior to the game, Ty Conklin would suit up in a total of 215 games over the course of his NHL career with the likes of Edmonton, Columbus, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Detroit and St. Louis after originally going undrafted. Offered here, we present this Blues jersey worn by Conklin during the 2010-11 season. Made by Reebok, "Goalie Style" and size "58" labels are affixed to the inner collar while logo patches for both the NHL and Reebok have been added over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Blues team crest that features embroidered details, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Conklin's number "29" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "Conklin" is spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior, the jersey shows game-wear via numerous puck marks throughout the body and sleeves as well as board burns over the elbows of both sleeves and pilling at the end of the left cuff. Sporting a Bluenote Authentics label heat pressed over the interior behind the "2" on the reverse, a team stamp reading "Set 1 - 10/14/10 BRG" is found heat pressed inside the reverse hem and the jersey is photo-matched with Getty Image #107381300 (December 5th, 2010 vs Vancouver) to numerous puck marks over the front and on the inside of the left sleeve.
