Proudly laying claim to having won awards such as the Calder Memorial Trophy (1994-95), Art Ross Trophy (2002-03), Hart Memorial Trophy (2002-03), two Olympic Gold Medals (1994 and 2006) and two Stanley Cups (1996 and 2001), Peter Forsberg was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014 and deservingly so. Playing in a total of seven (7) NHL All-Star Games over the course of his storied career, offered here is this Western Conference jersey worn by the Swedish sensation in warm-ups at the 2003 NHL All-Star Game in Florida. Made by CCM, a lone size "56" label is affixed to the inner collar that shows some staining while a CCM logo patch appears over the reverse neckline. Having had the crests of both the NHL and NHLPA embroidered into the reverse hem, the front of the garment has been decorated with a large NHL shield crest that features embroidered details while the all important 2003 NHL All-Star Game event patch is in place over the right breast. Also sporting a Sweden flag patch over the left shoulder and an Avalanche team crest atop the right shoulder, the lower front and verso of the tie-neck style shirt have been styled with Forsberg's number "21" in white-over-grey dual layer tackle twill numerals while "Forsberg" has been spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Signed by Forsberg through the "2" on the reverse with a black marker ink signature that displays without issue and retaining its fight strap on the interior, a MeiGray label numbered "A07864" has been sewn inside the reverse hem, with the company's population report listing the jersey as a "Western Conference - Warm Ups" offering. Worn only for warm-ups, the jersey shows no obvious signs of game-wear and remains in overall excellent condition other than the staining mentioned above.
