A product of the OHA's Peterborough Petes that would play a total of forty-nine (49) games in the National Hockey League with the St. Louis Blues over the course of three (3) seasons, Ken Richardson would also play in various minor professional leagues over the course of his career including the IHL, AHL and CHL. Offered here, we present this CHL Salt Lake Golden Eagles jersey worn by Richardson during the 1977-78 season. A lightweight mesh construction offering made by Champion, a brand label displaying a size "48" designation is affixed to the inner collar. Decorated over the front with "Eagles" in a screened on yellow script style that is outlined in white, Richardson's number "15" appears over the sleeves and verso in screened on dual layer numerals. Accented over the hem with screened on yellow and white coloured stripes that have worn considerably from use, numerous washings and age, the sleeves have been shortened considerably to Richardson's liking. Featuring the remains of a formerly in place fight strap on the interior, the jersey shows excellent game-wear throuhgout via numerous team repairs strewn throughout the body and sleeves as well as board burns, small unrepaired holes, coloured board paint transfers and pilling on both the interior and exterior.
