Ruling the NHL with an iron hand for over three decades, Clarence Campbell first ascended the throne of the presidency of the NHL in 1946, and is best remembered for suspending Rocket Richard during the 1955 season, resulting in the "Richard Riot". Enshrined in the HOF in 1966, Campbell was later instrumental in the expansion of the NHL in 1967. This index card has been signed by the WWII veteran, and it has been encapsulated as "Authentic Auto" by PSA/DNA. At the standard 3" x 5", Campbell has signed in blue ink, with the signature displaying beautifully. His name is written above in pencil, with the lined reverse also sporting a handwritten notation of "3rd NHL President". Campbell passed away in 1984 at the age of 78.
