A product of the Sarnia Sting and Mississauga IceDogs, Daniel Carcillo would be drafted 73rd overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and go on to play a total of 429 games in the National Hockey League, winning the Stanley Cup as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013 and 2015. Also suiting up for the Phoenix Coyotes, Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers during his time in the NHL, offered here is this Flyers jersey worn by Carcillo during the warm-up before the 2010 NHL Winter Classic against the Boston Bruins, with the Beantowners earning a 2-1 overtime victory to serve as the first home team to win a Winter Classic. Made by Reebok, a single size "56" label is affixed to the inner collar while the logo crests of both the NHL and Reebok have been added over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a familiar Flyers team crest in layered tackle twill, the all-important 2010 NHL Winter Classic event patch has been added over the right breast of the jersey, designed to mimic what was worn by Philly during their Stanley Cup years of 1974 and 1975. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Carcilo's number "13" in dual layer tackle twill numerals, "Carcillo" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed black fabric nameplate that is in place over the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior and sporting a MeiGray label numbered "G13199" sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company's Population Report, the jersey is a "White Retro - Winter Classic - Worn During Warm-Up 1/1/10 - NHLPA Set" example. Remaining in overall excellent condition with no obvious signs of wear except for a small spot on the reverse, the jersey is accompanied by an NHLPA COA.
