Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Enforcing the rules and maintaining order in the sometimes chaotic sport of hockey, linesmen are essential to the game, and we offer a vintage 1990s NHL linesman’s #64 sweater worn by an unknown official. In the familiar black and white stripes and sporting CCM labeling affixed to the collar along with a size “48” fly tag, an embroidered twill NHL shield crest has been sewn over the left breast, with “37” in white twill placed over a circular black twill base over the verso. Also having had both the CCM and NHL shield emblems embroidered into the reverse hem, the jersey sports moderate-to-heavy wear through things like pilling on the interior, fading and evidence of numerous washings, discoloration of the white areas, stick marks, board burns, light spot stains and a pair of unrepaired cuts over the front/lower front. Additionally, the zipper is missing its pull tab
