Playing his college basketball as a member of the Michigan State University Spartans, Morris Peterson would help the school to it's second NCAA National Championship during the 1999-2000 season, scoring 21 points in the National Championship Game against the Florida Gators to lead the team. Drafted 21st overall by the Toronto Raptors at the 2000 NBA Draft, Peterson would go on to play a total of 711 games in the NBA over the course of his career with the likes of Toronto, New Orleans and Oklahoma City. Offered here, we present this Raptors jersey worn by Peterson during his sophomore NBA season of 2001-02. Made by Nike, the brand's jock tag that displays a size "50" designation is sewn over the lower front along with a "Length +4" fly tag and additional Raptors plus NBA logo tags. Having had the NBA logo embroidered into the left shoulder, the front of the jersey is decorated with "Raptors" in a gentle arch across the chest via individually sewn on red-over-purple tackle twill letters. Having had the league's 9/11 memorial patch sewn on over the right shoulder area, the front and reverse has been styled with Peterson's number "24" in dual layer red-over-purple tackle twill numerals while "Peterson" is spelt out across the upper reverse in individually applied single layer purple tackle twill letters. Displaying just light game-wear via a few fabric snags/loose threads throughout and minor fabric rubbing on the interior, a Raptors "2001-2002 Limited Edition Game Worn" label has been sewn on inside the reverse hem. Also showing a "1999-00" year label inside the left side seam, the jersey is accompanied by a Raptors LOA signed by equipment manager Bryan James.
