A Michigan State graduate selected 21st overall by Calgary in 1988, goaltender Jason Muzzatti played for four different NHL teams and spent time in Italy with HC Milano and HC Bolzano. This New York Rangers "Lady Liberty" Third jersey was worn by Muzzatti in 1997-98. Made by Starter and featuring the brand's Center Ice Authentic Collection label affixed to the collar above a size "58-G" swatch that is found present underneath, the logos of both Starter and the NHL shield are embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a gorgeous Rangers Statue of Liberty team crest that sports both textured and embroidered details throughout, the navy V-neck has been embellished with "31" in tri-layer drop shadow tackle twill numerals while matching alternate logo shield patches have been placed over both shoulders. "Muzzatti" appears in matching style tri-layer drop shadow tackle twill letters that have been affixed directly to the jersey in a gentle arch, with a Rangers/MeiGray tag denoting the jersey as being a "1997-98 Season - MeiGray Group" example sewn inside the reverse hem. Playing in just 6 games with the Rangers this season, the jersey was likely worn in just a single contest as it shows light wear including a few marks to each sleeve. An LOA from the Rangers will accompany along with a COR from MeiGray.
