A veteran of 1045 games played in the National Hockey League with the Minnesota North Stars, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers, Derian Hatcher would hear his name called 8th overall by Minnesota at the 1990 NHL Entry Draft and follow the Stars when they relocated from the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" to "The Lone Star State" and captained the franchise to a Stanley Cup championship in 1999. Offered here, from his rookie season in the NHL, we present this jersey worn by Hatcher during the 1991-92 campaign. Made by CCM, size "56" and Maska Air-Knit labels are affixed to the inner collar while the logos of CCM, the NHL and the Stars are embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a North Stars team crest that was introduced the year this jersey hails from and features both textured and embroidered details, the NHL's 75th anniversary patch that was worn by all the league's teams throughout the season is in place over the right right. Also having had the North Stars' 25th anniversary patch added atop the left shoulder, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Hatcher's rookie number "28" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "Hatcher" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Displaying with just light game-wear, small board burns are present over both sleeves and small spot stains are seen throughout. Also showing a bit of light sweat staining around the collar and good pilling on the interior, a letter signed by Hatcher will accompany the piece.
