A four-time NHL All-Star and a Stanley Cup champion with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010, Brian Campbell would play eight (8) years with the Buffalo Sabres, the team that drafted him 156th overall in 1997, accounting for 391 of 1082 National Hockey League games played. Offered here, is this Sabres third jersey worn by Campbell during the 2001-02 season. made by Koho, a lone size “56” label is affixed to the inner collar while a Koho logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline and the NHL shield has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a Sabres alternate logo crossed swords crest that features embroidered details throughout, matching primary logo patches have been added atop of each shoulder. Showcasing “Buffalo” sublimated into the material over the lower front, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Campbell's number “51” in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while “Campbell” is spelt out in dual layer white-over-black tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Still retaining its original Sabres team store tag affixed to the size tag on the inside of the collar, the interior of the jersey displays the original fight strap as well as a Sabres team tag numbered "9407", matching what is penned on the accompanying Sabres COA. Displaying with good game-wear in the form of board burns over both sleeves and stick marks over both sleeves plus the front, the left sleeve also shows a few coloured board paint transfers while some light pilling is present on the interior. Of note, a small spot stain is also observed over the right sleeve.
