The final contest of the 2014 NHL Stadium Series, the Pittsburgh Penguins battled the Chicago Black Hawks in front of over 60,000 at Soldier Field in Chicago on March 1st, with the Hawks taking the victory on the strength of a pair of Jonathan Toews goals that helped contribute to a final score of 5-1. Playing a total of 13:36 during the outdoor contest, offered here is this Pittsburgh Penguins jersey worn by Brandon Sutter during the second (2nd) period of the club's 2014 NHL Stadium Series contest against the Blackhawks. Made by Reebok and sporting a lone size "56" label affixed to the inner collar, both NHL and Reebok logo crests appear over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a metallic/metal looking Penguins team crest in sublimated twill, the all-important 2014 Stadium Series event patch has been added atop of the right shoulder while the sleeves and verso have been styled with Sutter's number "16" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals. Having had "Sutter" spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse, the jersey retains its fight strap on the interior as well as an event specific Penguins team that has been sewn inside the lower reverse which denotes the jersey as being a "2nd Period" example. Also having had a MeiGray tag numbered "K09144" sewn inside the reverse hem, with the company's Population Report listing the jersey as a "White - Stadium Series 3/1/14 at Soldier Field - Team Set - Worn Period 2 - 3/1/14 At Soldier Field" offering, the jersey shows game-wear via a mark/burn/stain/hole over the left sleeve while a spot stain is present over the lower front and some light pilling exists inside the reverse hem from the fight strap. A Penguins COA will accompany the piece.
