The Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins went full Irish for their St. Patrick’s Day game during the 2012-13 AHL season. Adam Payerl’s “St. Patrick’s Day” game-worn jersey is from the AHL Penguins’ home game against the Norfolk Admirals on March 23, 2013. Pittsburgh Penguins patches sewn on each shoulder really stand out on this single-use gamer, a green and white beauty with “Penguins” spelled out across the top of the front in sewn-on green twill letters above a big green twill shamrock, with Payerl’s No. 28 sewn in the middle in white twill. Size 56 flag tag and Reebok AHL tagging are in the back of the collar and a Reebok patch is sewn on the back of the neck. Reebok and AHL patches are sewn on the right rear tail. Payerl signed in black marker at the bottom of the green twill “2” on the back. There is a reddish-brown stain on the rear tail. A board burn on the right sleeve has bled some of the green fabric onto the white stripe. Other game wear includes a faint mark and light reddish-brown stains on the front tail. Comes with a team LOA.
