One of the most feared snipers in the National Hockey League at the height of his career, Tony Tanti's NHL spanned a total of 697 games over 11 years in which he potted a total of 287 goals. A product of the Oshawa Generals of the OHL who was originally drafted 12th overall by the Chicago Black Hawks in 1981, offered here is this Penguins jersey worn by Tanti during the 1990-91 season. Made by CCM, a Maska Ultrafil label is affixed to the inner collar while both the NHL shield and CCM logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Measuring out to roughly a size "52" for its effort, the front of the jersey is decorated with a familiar Penguins team crest that features embroidered details throughout its entirety. Retaining its original fight strap on the interior, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Tanti's number "9" in dual layer tackle twill numerals while "Tanti" is spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the long affixed matching nameplate that is in place over the top of the reverse. Displaying good game-wear on the interior, the rest of the jersey shows use via stick marks throughout the body and sleeves, a red coloured board paint transfer and small unrepaired hole over the lower reverse and numerous team repairs and board burns that are strewn throughout both sleeves also. Accompanied by a press photo of Tanti that was taken on January 22nd, 1991 against the New Jersey Devils, the images shows a match to one of the dark stick marks that is seen over the front hem
