The 84th overall choice of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Alexei Emelin would play a total of 456 games in his National Hockey League career while also suiting up the RSL (Russian Super League) and KHL as well. A three-time Gagarin Cup champion who also represented his native Russia internationally on numerous occasions, offered here is this Montreal Canadiens jersey worn by Emelin during the 2011-12 regular season. Made by Reebok and sporting a lone partially sewn over size "56" label affixed to the inner collar below a handwritten "2" in black ink to denote it as a "set 2" offering, the logo crests of the NHL and Reebok have been added over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with Montreal's famed "CH" crest in layered tackle twill while also featuring embroidered details, the sleeves and verso of the jersey have been styled with Emelin's number "74" in dual layer white-over-blue tackle twill numerals. Having had "Emelin" spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse, Emelin has signed over the "4" on the reverse with a large blue marker ink signature that displays without issue. Having had a Canadiens team tag sewn on inside the reverse hem, a team hologram has been affixed to the bottom of the "4" on the reverse underneath the autograph, with both the team tag and hologram featuring serial numbers that match up with what is listed/seen on the accompanying Canadiens LOA. Displaying game-wear via stick marks over the front and both sleeves, additional wear is observed through board burns over the left sleeve, an unrepaired small cut over the right sleeve, minor pilling at the ends of both cuffs, a small blue coloured board paint transfer mark over the "4" on the reverse and pilling on the interior, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #138528689 (February 7th, 2012 vs Pittsburgh) to various loose threads in the team crest and the light stick mark in the top white stripe of the left sleeve under the "7".
