The key card of the 1986-86 O-Pee-Chee release, the first year cardboard of Patrick Roy leads the way in both importance and value. A 20-year old Quebec City native who grew up a fan of the Nordiques, Roy keyed the Montreal Canadiens return to Stanley Cup glory in the spring of 1986 with Patrick's heroics earning him his first of three (3) Conn Smythe Trophy awards as playoff MVP and came a year after he had backstopped the Sherbrooke Canadiens to the Calder Cup, emblematic of American Hockey League supremacy. This copy of “St. Patrick’s” rookie card displays beautifully with the graders at PSA agreeing on a grade of NM-MT 8. Well centered, the card presents wonderfully and will thrill any rookie card or Habs collector.
