Bobby Holik’s 2003-04 New York Rangers “Vintage” game-worn jersey is photo-matched to one of the two games he wore it during that season. The Rangers played it like it was the late-1970s when they brought back this style they wore for two seasons, 1976-77 and 1977-78, during their January 17, 2004 game at the Bell Centre in Montreal. They also wore it for their January 20, 2024 home game against Boston at MSG and the jersey is photo-matched to that game by Getty Images #53081132 to the black mark on the upper left sleeve, and to loose white threads on the top of the number "6" on the back, as well as the top of the "I" of Holik. Sporting the Rangers shield crest on the front, this “NHL Vintage” gamer has a size 58 flag tag in the neck and the NHL Vintage patch sewn on the right breast. The MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2003-2004 Season patch with registry No. B10609 is sewn inside the rear tail. According to the MeiGray population report the jersey is a "Blue Vintage Set 1 - Worn 1/17/04 v. Montreal and 1/20/04 v. Boston". Worn in only two games, wear is obviously light but shows in board burns with blue paint transfer on the right hip, board burns and marks on the left sleeve and marks on the right sleeve, including a black one above the blue twill No. 16.
Comes with a MeiGray LOA.
