Playing his college hockey with the University of North Dakota and going on to be drafted 33rd overall by the Florida Panthers at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Rocco Grimaldi has gone on to play a total of 203 games in his National Hockey League career thus far while also playing over 430 games in the AHL and representing Team USA internationally. Offered here, we present this AHL Portland Pirates jersey worn by Grimaldi during the team's "Pink in the Rink" breast cancer awareness night on March 26th, 2016. Made by CCM, AHL/CCM and size "54" labeling is affixed to the inner collar while Reebok patches are found over the reverse neckline and hem. Also sporting an AHL patch over the reverse hem, the front of the jersey is decorated with a pink Pirates team crest that features embroidered details throughout while a TD Bank sponsorship logo has been embroidered into to the right breast. A classic tie-neck style garment, the verso has been styled with Grimaldi's number "9" in a dual layer black-over-pink tackle twill numeral that has been signed by him with a silver ink signature that displays without issue, "Grimaldi" is spelt out in matching style letters that have been sublimated on to the affixed matching nameplate. Also having had matching pink cancer awareness ribbons sublimated into the material over both sleeves, the jersey shows light game-wear via a handful of small stick marks and board burns spread out between the two (2) sleeves. Also including a pair of game socks that remain in excellent condition overall, a Pirates LOA will accompany the lot.
