Dubbed the “Over The Hill Gang” due to their average age being 31 years, the oldest group ever to win the Stanley Cup, the 1966-67 Toronto Maple Leafs defeated both the Chicago Black Hawks and Montreal Canadiens to claim the franchise’s 13th Stanley Cup championship during Canada’s 100th year. Offered here, is this Toronto Maple Leafs 1967 Stanley Cup champions team photograph from their 40th Anniversary dinner that has been signed by seventeen (17) members of that cup winning squad. Framed to full dimensions of 26 1/2” x 22 3/4” with the photograph itself measuring out to 16” x 20”, the piece has been matted under a dark blue coloured matte and is housed in a glossy blue coloured wooden frame that displays with only some light wear that is worthy of mention for accuracy. A beautiful black and white image that is serial numbered “267/967” at the bottom right corner, seventeen (17) have signed the piece with blue marker ink signatures that display well despite some light fading from age. Signed by the likes of Bower, Pronovost, Kelly, Mahovlich, Pulford, Ellis, Baun, Stemkowski, Hillman, Pappin and Shack among the notables, information pertaining to the reunion that took place on March 22nd, 2007 is found at the bottom of the image. Accompanied by a JSA Auction LOA, the piece also comes with a pair of factory sealed boxes of Upper Deck's '67 Mapale Leafs - 40th Anniversary Commemorative Box Set" release from 2007 that are in overall fantastic condition.
