Starting with the earliest of the four (4) groupings, the 1980 set is a near complete assembly that is missing only card #482, the rookie of Rickey Henderson for completion. Found to be in the overall consistent condition range of EX-MT to NM throughout its entirety with the checklist cards found in their original unmarked form, the key cards include the examples of 100-Bench (EX to EX-MT - dark red print dot at the top border), 160-Murray (EX-MT to NM), 210-Carlton (EX-MT to NM), 230-Winfield (EX-MT to NM), 270-Schmidt (EX-MT to NM), 450-Brett (EX-MT - slight fuzziness of the top corners), 500-Seaver (EX-MT - surface bubble at the bottom left), 540-Rose (EX-MT to NM), 580-Ryan (EX-MT to NM), 600-Jackson (EX-MT to NM), 610-Stargell (EX-MT to NM) and 700-Carew (GOOD - crease). For the 1981 Topps set, complete with all 726 cards present and accounted for while presenting in the overall consistent grade range of EX-MT to NM throughout, once again the checklist cards, as well as the team checklist cards, are all in their original unmarked state. For the 1982 Topps set, complete with all 792 cards present and accounted for, the group also includes the 1982 Topps Traded set, which is missing the key card (#92T) of Cal Ripken Jr. Found to be in the overall uniform condition range of EX-MT to NM throughout its entirety, once again, all the checklists are found in their original unmarked states. Including a bevy of key cards, including the rookie offering of the previously mentioned Ripken, his first year specimen presents in the range of EX-MT due to a very small scratch to the surface at the top border. Finally, finishing off the lot with a complete assembly of the 1983 Topps release, like the other groupings mentioned above the assembly is found to be in the condition range of EX-MT to NM throughout its entirety and once again all the checklist cards remain in their original unmarked state. Paced by the key rookie cards of #83 Ryne Sandberg (VG-EX to EX - light corner wear all the way around and a corner ding at the bottom left), #482 Tony Gwynn (EX-MT to NM) and #498 Wade Boggs (EX-MT to NM - slightly off-center), the rest of the contingent includes key examples of 100-Rose (EX-MT to NM), 163-Ripken (EX-MT to NM - 2nd year card) and 360-Ryan (EX to EX-MT - minor wear to the top border) as well as the rookie card of Darryl Strawberry from the 1983 Topps Traded set, which presents in an EX-MT to NM state for its effort.
