Sure to pique the interest of collectors looking to add some star power to their budding portfolio's or dealers looking for some easy inventory, offered here is this collection of eleven (11) 1990s and 2000s graded hockey cards. A mix of Upper Deck, O-Pee-Chee and other brand offerings, the group includes a copy of the Sidney Crosby/Alexander Ovechkin "Rookie Showdown" card from the 2005-06 Upper Deck release that has been graded to the tune of a GEM MINT 9.5 mark by Beckett along with subgrades of Centering 9.5, Corners 9, Edges 10 and Surface 9.5. Also including examples of names such as; Jaromir Jagr (1990-91 OPC Premier RC - KSA MINT 9), Joe Sakic (1989-90 O-Pee-Chee RC - Beckett GEM MINT 9.5 - Subgrades; Centering 10, Corners 10, Edges 9.5 and Surface 9), Nicklas Lidstrom (1991-92 OPC Premier RC - Beckett GEM MINT 9.5 - Subgrades; Centering 9.5, Corners 9.5, Edges 10 and Surface 9), Martin Brodeur (1990-91 Score RC - KSA NMM+ 8.5), Jarome Iginla (1994-95 Upper Deck SP - Beckett GEM MINT 9 - Subgrades; Centering 10, Corners 9.5, Edges 9 and Surface 9.5), Brian Leetch (1989-90 O-Pee-Chee RC - Beckett GEM MINT 9.5 - Subgrades; Centering 10, Corners 9.5, Edges 9.5 and Surface 9), Sidney Crosby (2005-06 Upper Deck Die Cast - GEM Gem Mint 10) and Wayne Gretzky (1991-92 Score - PGS MINT 9, 2002 Upper Deck Spokesman Set - SPA GEM MINT 10 and 1991-92 Score LBT - PGS MINT 9). All housed in their original holders, each shows light wear via scratches and scuffs.
It must be noted that the grading standards followed by KSA, PGS, GEM and SPA may not correspond to those currently employed by PSA, BGS or SGC. The outcome of an attempted cross-over of this piece through any of those services, then, would be uncertain and cannot be guaranteed.
