A product of the Michigan State University Spartans in the NCAA who would be drafted 135th overall by the Los Angeles Kings at the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, Rem Murray would go on to play a total of 560 games in the National Hockey League with the likes of the Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers and Nashville Predators. Having played 425 of his NHL games in an Oilers uniform over two (2) separate stints, offered here is this Edmonton jersey worn by Murray during the 2005-06 regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs. Made by Reebok and sporting both size "56" and Elite Sportswear labeling affixed to the inner collar, a Reebok crest has been placed over the reverse neckline and an NHL shield emblem has been sewn on over the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a familiar Oilers team crest in layered tackle twill that featured textured and embroidered details, matching alternate logo patches have been added atop of both shoulders while the sleeves and verso have been accented with Murray's number "22" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals. Having had Murray spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse, an Oilers team tag denoting the jersey as a "2005-2006 Set #3" has been added inside the reverse hem alongside a MeiGray label numbered "C03828". With the company's population report listing the jersey as a "Navy Set 3 / Playoffs" offering, the garment displays with just light game-wear including small stick marks over the lower front and both sleeves, small board burns over both sleeves, a pair of team repairs near the left cuff, a couple of small unrepaired cuts through the first layer of material over the left elbow, some staining over the front including in the crest and finally, pilling on the interior.
