A product of the Ontario Hockey League's Guelph Storm who was drafted 23rd overall by the New York Islanders at the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, Todd Bertuzzi would go on to play a total of 1159 games over the course of his National Hockey League career with the likes of New York, Vancouver, Florida, Detroit, Anaheim and Calgary. Named to a pair of NHL All-Star Games during his career and chosen to represent Canada at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games, offered here is this jersey worn by Bertuzzi during his only season in Calgary with the Flames. Made by Reebok and sporting a lone size "58+" label affixed to the inner collar with Bertuzzi's number "7" penned above in black marker ink, an NHL logo crest has been placed over the front neckline while a Reebok logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline as well. A faux tie-neck style collar example that has been decorated over the front with a familiar Flames team crest in layered tackle twill, both Canadian and City of Calgary flag crests have been individually placed atop of both the left and right shoulders respectively. Accented over the sleeves and verso with Bertuzzi's number "7" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Bertuzzi" is spelt out in dual layer red-over-black tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Displaying overall light game-wear with stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves as well as a blue coloured board paint transfer over the reverse, light pilling is observed on the interior as well. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered "F10833" sewn inside the reverse hem, with that number also penned at the top of the fight strap in black marker ink, the jersey is accompanied by a matching LOA.
Regarding the photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #86812479 (April 25th, 2009 vs Chicago - 2009 Western Conference Quarterfinals Game 5) to the stick marks over the lower front and on top of the left shoulder.
