A four-time All-Star, Russell Martin made his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2006, with seasons later spent with four additional clubs including the Yankees and Blue Jays before returning to the Dodgers in 2019. With the Ontario native capturing both Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards in 2007 and recently inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2024, offered here is this Toronto Blue Jays jersey issued to Martin for the club's contest against the New York Mets on July 4th, 2018. A Majestic made offering that sports a brand/"MLB Authentic Collection" jock tag heat pressed over the front left tail which also displays a size "46" designation, an additional label is found over the lower portion of the placket in similar style that displays Martin's number "55 and "46 + 1S" (sleeve length) as well as a “2018” year designation. Featuring "Blue Jays" spelt out across the chest in individually sewn on layered tackle twill letters with a Blue Jays crest underneath, "Martin" and his number "55" is observed over the reverse in either single layer or dual layer tackle twill letters and numbers below an MLB league patch that resides over the reverse neckline. Also having had both Canadian and American flag patches added over the right and left sleeves respectively, the jersey was issued to Martin as a backup for the contest and not used and therefore remains in excellent condition with no flaws. An MLB hologram numbered "JD186679" is affixed over the jock tag on the front with their database listing the piece as a "Team-Issued" offering.
