Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/29/2025
This lot features a game-used Easton Ultra Lite hockey stick, a model of stick used by Shayne Corson in the late-1990s with the Montreal Canadiens and briefly in 2000-01 with the Toronto Maple Leafs, though with a different blade model during his time in Toronto. The stick has its original tape jobs on both the knob and blade. The blade tape exhibits a few rips on the toe and bottom. On the back of the blade, "FEB 20/99" and "ACC." are inscribed in silver marker. Corson signed the stick twice; once on the heel of the blade and again over the blade’s tape, in an upside down position, both in silver marker. The stick is well-preserved with no noticeable cracks and exhibits nice game wear throughout.
Also included is a Toronto Maple Leafs white home replica jersey signed by Corson. Made by CCM, "Center Ice Authentic" and size "52 Made in Canada" tagging are affixed to the collar along with an additional size "52" fly tag. The jersey features blue-over-white-and-silver numbering, with "CORSON" on the nameplate. There is some yellowing and a small yellow stain on the nameplate with a few small stains on various areas of the jersey to be noted as well. A fight strap is sewn inside the jersey. Corson signed the jersey twice; once in blue marker on the right breast, and again in silver marker on the back, over the number "7". The lot will be accompanied by a JSA Auction LOA for the signed jersey and the signatures on the stick.
