Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
Taking place in Cleveland for a sixth time - the most for any city, the 2019 MLB All-Star Game coincided with the 25th anniversary of Progressive Field, and featured the traditional combatants of the National and American Leagues. Closely contested, the American League prevailed over the National League, 4–3. These rings were given only to the players and coaches. Size 14 with an approx weight of 50 grams, a large black onyx stone with inserted zirconia sits within the square bezel, with "All-Star Game" above and "2019" below, while each side of the bezel sports a row of zirconias. The right shank shows a raised National League logo (the rings either had an NL or AL logo, depending upon the player), while the left sports the Cleveland All-Star Game logo. The inner band is stamped "Jostens 925". The sterling ring is in beautiful condition, with just a few small edge dings visible. The original Jostens box will accompany.
