Selected 8th overall at the 1990 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota North Stars, Derian Hatcher would transition with the club to Dallas during his sophomore campaign, and would spend a decade in Texas which included winning a Stanley Cup championship in 1999. a veteran of 1045 games over the course of 16-years in the National Hockey League who also served as Dallas' captain for numerous seasons in their early years, offered here is this Dallas Stars jersey worn by Hatcher during the 1998-99 season when Dallas would win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. Made by CCM, both brand/"Made in Canada" and size "58" labels are affixed to the inner collar of the Air-Knit material construction garment while the CCM, NHL shield and Dallas Stars logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Stars team crest that features both textured and embroidered details throughout its entirety, matching State of Texas alternate logo patches have been added atop of both shoulders and the distinguished captain's "C" is in place over the left breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Hatcher's number "2" in dual layer white-over-green tackle twill numerals, "Hatcher" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Still showcasing its fight strap and pilling on the interior of the jersey, light but clear game-wear is observed via a couple of board burns over the sleeves while stick marks are present over the left sleeve and both the lower front and reverse. Also showing light sweat staining around the collar, the jersey, hailing from a Stanley Cup championship season, comes accompanied by a MeiGray LOA and COR.
