Finishing third in the American Division during the regular season, the New York Rangers met the Montreal Maroons in the 1934 Stanley Cup Quarter-finals, losing in a two-game, total goal series. This stick has been team-signed by the 1933-34 Rangers. A Northland Professional one-piece model used by an unknown player with the original black tape to the blade and knob, a heavy coat of shellac has been applied throughout the shaft and blade. 18 have signed one side of the shaft, including deceased HOFers E. Seibert, Patrick, Johnson and the Cook brothers, along with Somers, Murdoch, Cox, Dillon, Dutkowski, Heller, Brennan, Aitkenhead, Asmundson, Keeling, Ripley and two others. The signatures present nicely overall, with a few a bit harder to make out than others. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
