Feared by each and every NHL netminder for his legendary shot - arguably the greatest all-time, Bobby Hull frustrated keepers further by using an exaggeratedly large curved blade that added an unpredictable flight path to an already deadly projectile. The owner of 913 professional regular season goals between his time in both the National Hockey League and World Hockey Association and a champion of both the Stanley Cup and AVCO Cup, Hull would be inducted into the hallowed halls of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983. Offered here, we present this stick issued to Hull for his use in circa 1974 as a member of the WHA's Winnipeg Jets. A CCM made "Custom Pro" model offering, the stick has never been taped over either the handle or the blade and had had "HULL" stamped over the upper shaft. Featuring Hull's familiar notched handle and retaining a mostly intact accent sticker over the bottom of the shaft, the blade shows wear via a crack/chip at the top edge of the blade as well as a handful of small dark marks throughout. Additionally, Hull has signed over the forehand side of the shaft with a ballpoint pen ink signature that reads "To Tom - My Best Wishes" in matching ink. With the autograph and inscription still legible despite fading from age, the Hull stick is accompanied by modern made game model sticks of Gordie Howe (Northland) and Bobby Orr (Victoriaville) that feature each players name stamped over the upper shaft and have also been signed by them as well over the blades with either blue (Howe) or black (Orr) marker ink signatures that display well and without issue. Of note, both sticks remain in excellent condition with just light marks over both. Additionally, the Howe stick has had a KSA sticker affixed to the shaft while the Orr stick, taped in his familiar style, sports stickers from PSA and GNR. Finally, the last item included with the lot is a commemorative sheet from 1991 that features images of both Gordie and Marty Howe which has been signed by both along the bottom with black marker ink signatures that display without issue. Measuring roughly 11" x 6 1/4", the sheet is a limited-edition offering numbered "00294/15,000" and remains in good condition with just light wear present to the edges and corners.
