Finishing first in the American Division in 1932-33, tied with the Detroit Red Wings with matching records but scoring more goals during the season, the Boston Bruins were defeated by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Stanley Cup semifinals. This Boston Garden program hails from the 1932-33 season, produced for a Feb 2, 1933 match vs Detroit (the game ended in a 1-1 draw). Featuring legendary Beantowner Eddie Shore on the cover, the thick 64-page program is complete with an intact but detached line-up, with a full-page team photo on page 48. Remaining in beautiful condition with just very light handling wear, also included with the lot are four line-ups from the season detached from programs, including for Feb 8, 1933 vs Maroons (1-0 Bruins victory), Feb 14, 1933 vs Toronto (7-2 Bruins victory, Eddie Shore 3 points), Feb 21, 1933 vs Canadiens (10-0 Bruins victory, Marty Barry 5 points), and Feb 28, 1933 vs Ottawa (scoreless game).
