A lot sure to pique the interest of those that seek out food premiums and smaller lesser known sets for their collections, presented here is this one comprised of early-1970s offerings in the form of a complete 144-card set of the 1970-71 Dad's Cookies release as well as a group of over seventy (70+) examples from the 1971-72 Toronto Sun hockey photos release also. Starting with the Dad's Cookies set, found to be in the overall uniform condition range of EX-MT to NM throughout its entirety with just a couple of exceptions, including six (6) cards that have a small blue "ink mark" on the edge that can only be seen when looking at the side, it is also worth noting that the cards also have a slight humidity curve to them as well. For the key cards, included are the likes of Jacques Plante (EX-MT to NM), Bernie Parent (EX-MT to NM), Bobby Clarke (VG to VG-EX - rookie year - smudge over bottom left), Eddie Giacomin (EX-MT to NM), Jean Beliveau (EX-MT to NM), Frank Mahovlich (EX-MT to NM), Gordie Howe (EX-MT to NM), Bobby Hull (EX-MT to NM), T. Esposito (EX-MT to NM), Gilbert Perreault (EX-MT to NM - rookie year), Bobby Orr (EX to EX-MT - tiny surface bubble at his right shoulder) and P. Esposito (EX-MT to NM). Moving on to the Toronto Sun Hockey Photos from the 1971-72 season, the "Action Players" images measure approximately 5 ½” x 7” and feature stars of the day from all fourteen (14) NHL teams, with the likes of Guy Lafleur, Alex Delvecchio, Eddie Giacomin, Vic Hadfield and Henri Richard present as the star power of the group, all the photos are housed in their original album that shows light wear to the edges and corners with the original owners name written in pen on the front cover. For the photos themselves, all are in overall good condition with some wear to report to the corners and edges throughout as well as some minor/light toning that is worth reporting on for accuracy.
