Possessing great stickhandling and passing abilities and teaming with Stan Mikita to form a diminutive but dynamic duo, Ken Wharram scored a career-high 39 goals to earn First Team All-Star recognition in 1963-64. A Stanley Cup champion with the Black Hawks in 1961 who would play all 766 of his career National Hockey League games played in the Windy City, offered here is this stick used by Wharram during the era of the mid-to-late-1960s with Chicago. A Northland Custom Pro model offering with "Wharram" stamped over the shaft, additional stamps for team supplier "Gunzo's Sports Center Berwyn Ill" and "Larson Industries Le Center, Minn, USA" appear over both sides of the upper shaft as well. Retaining its original white-over-black tape job around the shaved down handle/knob and black around the blade, a "banana hook" curve resembling those used by teammates Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita can be found at the blade, which is cracked near the toe. Displaying overall light-to-moderate game wear through a few marks and abrasions over the shaft, lower shaft and heel areas, the blade tape is puckered on both sides near the toe and is torn in places along the bottom edge, which shows a bit of very light wear as well.
