Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/24/2024
A battle between the East Division All-Stars and West Division All-Stars, the 1973 NHL All-Star Game took place at Madison Square Garden on Jan 30th, with just under 17,000 in attendance. Closely fought, the East squeaked by the West 5-4, with Greg Polis earning MVP honours with his 2 goals. We offer a program signed on the cover by 14 All-Star game participants. With all signatures appearing in either blue or black marker, signers include deceased HOFer Mikita, as well as fellow enshrined members Orr, Park, Keon, T. Esposito, Lapointe, Savard, Cournoyer and Frank Mahovlich, along with Bergman, Hodge, D. Hull, Westfall and Bill White. The signatures present beautifully, with the majority spread-out, with the program showing minor wear with some toning to the covers and interior pages. A JSA LOA will accompany.
