Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/24/2024
Featuring the famous 1972 Canada-Russia Series, this 16-page “Official Home TV Program” was produced in Canada by Ford, one of the television sponsors, as a guide to the four games in Moscow, and it is accompanied by 10 signed Future Trends hockey cards. Paul Henderson and Frank Mahovlich have both signed on the cover near their respective image in gold ink, and the signatures are flawless. Statistics are listed for the first four Summit Series games within, along with great action images. The program remains in beautiful condition, with just regular handling wear present. There is a sticker from JSA affixed, with a matching Basic Cert to accompany. The cards include six that were originally factory signed and pulled from limited packs, including Dryden, Tretiak, Berenson, Martin, Redmond and Tallon, along with additional signed cards from Goldsworthy, Martin, Mikita and Henderson/Tretiak. The signatures display well, with light handling wear to the cards.
