Representing St. John's University in the Queens borough of New York City as part of the ECAC's Division III conference from 1980 to 1985 and then ECAC South from 1985 to 1992 before disbanding after the season. Offered here, we present this St. John's Redmen game-worn jersey that hails from the 1984-85 season of play. A heavyweight mesh construction offering made by Stall & Dean, brand and washing instructions labels are sewn to the inner collar along with "Mens", size "54" and "4" (for the season) fly tags. Decorated over the front of the jersey with "St. John's" in single layer red twill, the sleeves and verso have been styled with the number "4" in single layer red or white numerals. Exhibiting game-wear via stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves, additional wear is observed via pilling to the ends of each cuff, light board burns over both sleeves, a pair of team repairs in the left sleeve, a couple of small unrepaired holes in the mesh of the left sleeve and a couple of light board paint transfers on the left sleeve as well. Also sporting heavy pilling on the interior, it should also be pointed out that the white areas are sort of an off-white from numerous washings and wears.
