Chosen by the Winnipeg Jets at the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, Boris Mironov first gained seasoning in his native Russia with CSKA Moscow, and would return to his country for a trio of seasons to end his career. Mironov saw action with four different NHL clubs throughout his career including Winnipeg, Edmonton, Chicago and New York. A silver medalist at the 1998 Olympics as well as a bronze medalist at the 2002 Olympics, offered here is this New York Rangers jersey worn by Mironov during the pre-season of his final NHL campaign in 2003-04. Made by CCM, a lone size "58" label is affixed to the inner collar while a CCM logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline and the NHL shield has been embroidered into the reverse hem. A classic tie-neck style garment decorated over the front with "Rangers" going diagonally down the chest in dual layer drop-shadow blue-over-red tackle twill letters, the sleeves and verso have had Mironov's number "29" sewn to them in matching style numbers while a nameplate with "Mironov" screened across it in matching style letters in a gentle arch has been added over the upper reverse. Exhibiting game-wear via stick marks over the lower front and left sleeve, a small board burn/unrepaired hole is present over the right sleeve while staining and additional stick marks exist over the reverse. Having had a MeiGray label numbered "B06247" sewn inside the reverse hem with the company's population report listing the jersey as a "White Preseason" offering.
