Dubbed by media and fans as "AK-46", Andrei Kostitsyn would be selected 10th overall by the Montreal Canadiens at the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and go on to play a total of 398 games in his National Hockey League career as well as an additional 400 in the KHL. Playing in the NHL with his younger brother Sergei in both Montreal and Nashville while representing his native Belarus internationally, offered here is this Montreal jersey worn by Kostitsyn during the 2007-08 season of play. Made by Reebok and sporting a lone size "56" label affixed to the inner collar, a "3", to denote the jersey as a set three (3) specimen, is penned above in black marker ink. Accented over the front and reverse necklines with the crests of both the NHL and Reebok respectively, the front of the jersey is decorated with Montreal's famed "CH" crest that features embroidered details. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Kostitsyn's number "46" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Kostitsyn" is spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks are present over the front, reverse and both sleeves while a small cut is present over the left sleeve and a red coloured board paint transfer exists over the right one. Having had a Canadiens team tag numbered "A01198" sewn inside the reverse hem, the jersey is accompanied by a matching Canadiens LOA and has been photo-matched with Getty Image #80695818 (April 15th, 2008 vs Boston - Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Game 4) to the stick mark under the "4" of the left sleeve and at the edge of the left cuff.
