Playing in over 800 National Hockey League contests with Edmonton, Nashville, New York Ottawa and Atlanta despite going undrafted, it was with the Colorado Avalanche that Greg De Vries would spend the most of his NHL tenure with, becoming a fixture in the Avs defense and helping them to a Stanley Cup in 2001. Up for grabs here, is this Colorado jersey worn by De Vries during the 2000-01 season in which they hoisted the franchise's second Stanley Cup. Made by CCM, a "Made in Canada" label that has had a size "58" fly tag added to the bottom of it has been affixed to the inner collar while a CCM logo patch has been placed over the reverse neckline. Having had the NHL shield embroidered into the reverse hem, the front of the jersey has been decorated with a familiar Avalanche team crest that features textured and embroidered details throughout while matching alternate logo crests have been placed atop of both shoulders. Sporting the 2001 NHL All-Star Game patch over the right breast, the sleeves and verso have been styled with De Vries' number "7" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "De Vries" is spelt out in single layer black twill letters that have been placed across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse in a gentle arch. A "set 3" offering as indicated on the team tag sewn inside the reverse hem and accompanying Avalanche LOA, the jersey shows excellent game-wear throughout its entirety via things such as stick marks over the front, reverse, right shoulder and both sleeves, board burns over the right shoulder, both sleeves, lower front, right hip and lower reverse, coloured board paint transfers over both sleeves and small unrepaired holes over both sleeves and lower reverse. Also showing light pilling on the interior, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #577956 (April 28th, 2001 vs Los Angeles - 2001 Western Conference Finals Game 2) to the stick marks through and under the team crest, board burns at the right hip and the stick mark through the crest atop the right shoulder.
