The son of former major-league pitcher and 1990 National League Cy Young Award winner Doug Drabek, Kyle Drabek would be drafted right out of high school, being selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the first round, 18th overall, at the 2006 MLB June Amateur Draft. Taking the mound in the Major Leagues for the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago White Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks between 2010 and 2016, offered here is this Blue Jays third jersey donned by Drabek during the 2011 MLB season. Sporting a Majestic/MLB Authentic Collection label and size "48" designation heat pressed over the front tail, additional tagging is found inside the left hip. Decorated over the front with a "Jays" script/emblem team crest that features both textured and embroidered details throughout, a maple leaf patch has been placed over the right sleeve while an MLB crest sits over the reverse neckline. Displaying Drabek's number "4" over the reverse in a stacked tri-layer tackle twill numeral, "Drabek" is spelt out in dual layer tackle twill letters that have been sewn on directly to the material of the jersey over the upper reverse in a gentle arch. With a swatch reading "4 '11 S2" sewn inside the collar, a velcro swatch has been added to the inside of the placket to keep the jersey closed during wear. With all the buttons still affixed, the jersey shows no obtrusive signs of game-use other than some fabric pilling/snags and according to our consignor was acquired directly from the team store.
