Comprising teams in the province of Ontario, the ORFU (Ontario Rugby Football Union) was formed in 1883, and featured a pair of later CFL teams with the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tigers (merged with the Hamilton Wildcats in 1950 to form the Ti-Cats). Teams from the league often battled for the Grey Cup. We offer a group of ORFU jacket team patches, a 1948 Tiger Juniors cigarette case, and Tommy Grant's 1963 Grey Cup Tiger Cats wallet. The patches include 1929 and 1930 (Junior Group winners), 1934 and 1935 (Interprovincial), 1937 (Intermediate A) and 1941 (Hamilton Wildcats Senior champs). There is also a Montreal Alouettes alumni patch. The cigarette case is gold in colour, with "Tiger 1948 Football Juniors P. Manoian" engraved to the lid, and it remains in beautiful condition, unused, with the original instruction paper on the inside. The Buxton wallet is a billfold with a Tiger-Cats logo in gold to the interior along with "Grey Cup Champions 1963" and "T. Grant" below, with some wear to the lettering. The wallet shows use, but remains in very good condition. As an added bonus, there are also 4 Tom Grant CFL cards included, with a 1962 Topps, 1963 Post, 1965 Topps and 1968 OPC. the 1962 Topps shows light wear, while the other three cards are in lower grade condition.
