Released by kingpin gum and trading card company Topps during a decade that saw the New York Yankees, along with their two brothers of New York baseball—the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Giants, own Major League Baseball, one of those team would win eight (8) of ten (10) championships during the decade, with those wins coming over a city rival on six (6) occasions as well, offered here, we present this collection of over 400 Topps baseball cards from various years of the 1950s. Including representation from 1954 Topps (x27 - notables; Robin Roberts), 1955 Topps (x156 - notables; Monte Irvin), 1956 Topps (x166 - notables; Monte Irvin), 1957 Topps (x37 - all commons) and 1958 Topps (x58 - all commons), the included cards are mostly in a lower grade condition state and are a mix of FR (fair), G (good) and VG (very good) specimens with nothing much better than that except for a few VG/EX cards in the 1957 and 1958 Topps groupings. Additionally, there is a good amount of duplicates throughout, some having more than two examples that is worth mentioning for accuracy.
