Considered to be the 17th season in modern-day Canadian football and officially the 13th Canadian Football League season, the 1970 CFL campaign saw the 58th edition of the Grey Cup won by the Montreal Alouettes over the Calgary Stampeders by a score of 23-10 at CNE Stadium in Toronto. Offered here, we present this complete 115-card set of O-Pee-Chee's 1970 CFL Football release.
Found to be in the overall condition range of EX-MT to NM throughout its entirety, the set includes key offerings such as 6-Wilkinson RC (EX-MT to NM), 13-Coffey (EX-MT - light border wear at the right side), 14-Mosca (EX-MT to NM), 15-Zuger (EX-MT to NM), 16-Henley (EX-MT to NM), 76-Lancaster (EX-MT to NM), 81-Reed (EX-MT to NM), 92-Helton RC (EX-MT to NM), 98-Evanshen (EX-MT to NM), 111-Checklist (EX-MT - unmarked - off-center at the bottom) and 115-Identifying the Players (EX-MT - very light surface scratch). Additionally, also accompanying the set is a complete assembly of the 1970 O-Pee-Chee CFL Push-Out Inserts that totals out to sixteen (16). All found in the condition range of EX-MT to NM for their efforts, Presenting as standard sized cards but actually stickers if the backs are moistened, the group includes key offerings of 3-Coffey, 4-Mosca and 15-Evanshen.
