Regarded by many to this day as the greatest hockey player to ever lace up a pair of skates, the name Gordie Howe is synonymous with the game loved and played by so many across the world. In a career that spanned over five different decades from 1946-71 and 1973-80, fans and players alike will still find Howe’s name near the top of the all-time leaderboards all these years later. Inducted into the hallowed halls of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972, offered here is this pair of Howe cards from the fan favourite 1965-66 Topps hockey release. Including both his main series and commemorative "600 Goals" examples, both cards show the same posed image of "Mr. Hockey" over their fronts with the hockey legend sporting his red Detroit sweater and an ear-to-ear smile. With the commemorative 600 goals card displaying the monumental feat at the top where Howe's name is found on his main series release, an additional blurb displays the fact that Howe is the first NHL's first ever 600 goal scorer. Both having been just returned back from grading by PSA, the company's graders have assessed each card a mark of EX-MT 6 for their efforts with each also retaining strong attributes that contribute to the excellent eye appeal of each. Both housed in flawless PSA holders, don't miss out on this pair of key Original Six offerings from hockey's golden years for your all-important collection!
