Originally drafted 5th overall by the Boston Bruins at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Phil Kessel has gone on to win a trio of Stanley Cup championships while recording a career total of 992 points and holds the National Hockey League record for most consecutive games played at 1064. Joining the Pittsburgh Penguins beginning with the 2015-16 season and establishing himself as a playoff asset by registering 22 points in 24 games played as the Penguins won the Stanley Cup for the fourth (4th) time in franchise history over the San Jose Sharks, offered here is this stick used by Kessel as a member of the Penguins in the mid-to-late-2010s during either the 2016-17 or 2017-18 season(s). An Easton made CX Stealth model twig with "P. Kessel" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape jobs of white over the handle/knob, shaft and blade. Having been signed by Kessel over the forehand side of the heel with a silver marker ink signature that displays without issue, a Frozen Pond hologram has been affixed alongside it as well. Displaying with good game-use, marks and abrasions are present over the lower shaft, heel and untaped sections of the blade while the tape over the handle/knob and shaft shows marks and small tears as well. Additionally, puck marks are observed over both sides of the blade tape and there are a small number of tears to the tape over the top edge.
